The Pigeon and the Rat by Operia The Pigeon and the Rat by Operia
Another hospital picture...although I finished this after I was released. Personally, I really like how this turned out :D
Pidgeot and Raichu are two of my favourite Gen I Pokemon...so I thought I'd do a quick tribute to them :)

Pidgeot (ピジョット Pigeot) is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokemon. It evolves from Pidgeotto at Lv36 and is Pidgey's final evolution.

:bulletpurple: Prior to Generation VI, Pidgeot and its evolutions were the only Pokemon capable of learning the move Feather Dance by levelling up.

:bulletpurple: Pidgeot and its evolutions are the only Normal-type Pokemon capable of learning the move Twister by levelling up.

:bulletpurple: Pidgeot is the only Pokemon with a base stat total of 469.

Raichu (ライチュウ Raichu) is an Electric-type Pokemon. It evolves from Pikachu when exposed to a Thunderstone.

:bulletpurple: Raichu appears in every regional Pokedex except the Unova Pokedex.

:bulletpurple: In Pokemon Red & Blue, a Scientist on Cinnabar Island who will trade a Raichu for an Electrode. If you talk to him later, he will mention that the Raichu evolved, which is not possible.

I find that this sketch is valuable! The vision is quite impacting and its originality is strikingly impressive. Despite the minor flaws, this image deserves the great attention. The errors are not huge.

The positions of both the Raichu and the Pidgeotto/Pidgeot are outstanding. Raichu on all fours makes a furious and defensive pose with electricity sparking from his cheeks. The Pidgeot is offensive in trying to eat the Raichu alive, even though birds in reality eat dead animals. These all form great drama!

It appears this sketch is well made in pencil, however, there are a few abnormal dents in the outlines. Raichu's front elbow is bent backwards, which impossible for a mouse unlike a bird. Though, the most noticeable set back in this image is Raichu's nose, which seems crooked rather than round. If that's not correct, perhaps the nose should be moved to the left a tad.

To wrap it all up, this is a great sketch. It could still use tweaking. The minor flaws are no big problem. The Raichu's nose and elbow should be edited. Nonetheless, the poses of the two Pokémon are what makes the picture great!
